Welcome To Don Pedro's Mexican Restaurant
"The hardest part is not to be successful; The hardest part is to stay successful"
Pedro Mena-Outlook Magazine 2000
After 15 years of business, Pedro & Ricardo Mena have mastered the "hard part". What began as a little family restaurant in Evaston has grown to 8 locations spanning 3 states.
The Mena brother first began their restaurant careers with the "Azteca" restaurant chain in Seattle, Washington. After 15 years with the "Azteca" restaurant, Pedro decided it was time to pursue his own restaurant. With the blessing of his mentors, Pepe & Jaime Ramos-Azteca Owners, Pedro moved to Evaston to follow his dream.
Pedro opened the first restaurant on February 4th, 1995. The savory dishes at reasonable prices were an instant success with the Evaston locals. A year later, Ricardo joined Pedro to open the second location in a little town called Midway, Utah. This proved to be a key business move when the little town became the venue for the cross country & triathlon events in the 2002 Winter Olympics.
To this day, Pedro & Ricardo are still very involved with all aspects of the business. You may stop in Evaston and find Pedro greeting you at the door or Ricardo cooking your order in our Heber location. truly a family restaurant, all of our locations are managed and operated by family but even more important we strive to make all our guests feel like family when they are enjoying a meal at one of our restaurants.
